Carolina 29er

Refreshed for 2024, the go fast BOOST spec'd Carolina 29ers are set for racing or your back 40 trail that will take your ride far beyond the normal.Super light (305 grams per rim) asymetric rims measuring 30mm on the outside with a 25mm internal bed and a 23mm height are mated to your choice of 28H or 32H 3-cross Sapim D-Lite laced Carolina Hubs. 

Reliable and durable, the wheels are constructed by a blend of Toray T700 and T800 carbon for the perfect balance of strength and weight.   At 1390 grams per wheelset, the wheels wind up fast and are perfect for XC and trail riding. Carolina  29er rims differ from our roadrims in that they are hookless for the greatest possible  volume and today's modern MTB tires. The tire pressure limit of our hookless rims is 80psi.   

Wheels are built at the time of ordering. Specify your choice of Sram XD, Shimano HG or Shimano Microdrive cassette mechanism. Please allow up to 10 days as wheels are built often at time of demand in order to build specifically to your desires. If you are active or retired military with proof of service, a teacher or police/fire fighter, please contact us prior to ordering for additional discount information.
